I’ve stayed at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver on a couple of occasions, once to visit with my family when they were in town, and once for a blogging event. The beds are really comfortable and I like how central the location is downtown. It’s an easy walk to Robson Street or Pacific Centre for shopping and the Skytrain is just steps away to get wherever you need to go on transit. The Royal Centre Mall below has shops where you can pick up last minute things you might have forgotten in your travels. I used to work in the neighbourhood and found the walk-in clinic in the mall to have really good doctors should you find yourself unwell while travelling. All that Downtown Vancouver has to offer is close at hand to enjoy.

The proximity to Bentall Centre makes it convenient for business travel. The desk in our room and the speedy wifi made updating my blog and tending to my clients in the evening more comfortable. Sleep came easy and we found the hotel to be really quiet. Our room was big and had a fridge, which was such a blessing because I came home from the event with food that needed to be refrigerated. Another thing I really like is that it’s pet friendly and parking is really easy – there’s nothing worse than trying to park downtown. There’s a spa, pool, fitness centre, restaurant and delicious room service. I liked waking up knowing Starbucks was in the lobby and I could have my favourite skinny vanilla latte before I start my day.

I really enjoyed our stay and would love to spend more time in the heart of downtown at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver again.
