Our family has stayed at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre on a number of occasions over the past few years. We keep coming back because it’s a really nice place to stay downtown and it’s a consistently high quality service experience. They even left us complimentary beer in our room for my boyfriend‘s birthday one time we stayed downtown to celebrate. Their attention to detail and hospitality was really appreciated.

We find the location to be very convenient, near Burgoo (and their divine fondue) and Robson Street (where I like to load up on Lush bath bombs and caramel apples from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.) The beds are really comfortable, the bedding is crisp and glorious and it’s across the street from Saint Paul’s hospital where my son was born, so I get to regale him with his birth story whenever we stay there. Looking out the window at where I became a mom makes me happy.

My son likes to build forts in the room and he considers the room formulations and contents to be more than adequate for fort construction (this is what you get when a ten year old reviews a hotel room, the truly important information.) I like that it’s a Starwood property where I can earn points for future stays (I like big points and I cannot lie.)

The first time I stayed here, I was attending an Indigenous Data conference (nerd alert!) and it was a great place for a conference. The event ran smoothly and the meeting facilities were really lovely. I’m a sucker for room service and their food is quite good.

We enjoyed live music in the lobby and we found the valet parking to be really convenient. It was easy to get a cab to wherever we were going which made getting to events less stressful. It’s really quite perfect for a downtown staycation or for business travel. We will definitely be back to stay at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre.
